MEMBERS' PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES

Fee: $15

Prizes will be awarded. Special category is Portrait. Faculty members not considered for awards but are encouraged to exhibit. No fee for faculty only.

Painters: You are welcome to bring in 1 piece, or 2 if the second is in the special category of PORTRAIT. Since we have limited space and want to accommodate everyone, we will limit your entries to a combined total of 60-80 United Inches. United inches are simply calculated by adding length plus width (outside edge of frame.)

Size Limitations

Artists may submit up to two works for exhibition. To ensure fairness and efficient use of gallery space, the following limits apply:

  • Vertical (portrait-oriented) works: If both entries are vertical, the combined maximum is 80 United Inches(calculated as height + width of the outside frame).

  • Horizontal (landscape-oriented) works: If both entries are horizontal, the combined maximum is 60 United Inches.

  • Mixed entries (one vertical, one horizontal): The combined maximum is 70 United Inches.

These limits recognize that tall vertical works generally occupy less linear wall space than wide horizontal works, and therefore can be accommodated more easily in the exhibition layout.

Jewelers, Potters & Other 3D: May bring in 3 to 5 pieces each.

  • All works must be framed, wired, and suitable for hanging.

  • Work which has been exhibited at the Center is not eligible

  • Work done with an instructor is not eligible.

  • Membership must be current.

  • Artists will receive 70% commission on art sales.
