Best in Show- Rosalie Nadeau- Anticipating, Oil
Certainly a challenging composition. Great dappled sunlight on the rock. The weight of the rock comes through.
First Place- Lindsey MacMurdo- Chatham Harbor, Oil
Did a great job capturing the light & reflections of the water on the hulls, a nice job on the water in the foreground, soft & blurry. The fading in the background helps make the boats pop, good & graphic.
Second Place- Jesse Ensling- Venus's Chariot, Marble
It looks good enough to eat. The luscious color of the stone with vains of pure white frosting. A beautiful, graceful shape that is strong & soft at the same time.
Juror’s Choice- Heather Ramp- Budding Milkweed, Wood Fired Clay
I love the scale of her milkweed pods, wonderfully organic.
