DATES:	August 17,18 and 19, 2012
TIME:	10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily
SET UP TIMES:	Thursday, August 16, 2012, 2:00-7:00 p.m. and Friday, August 17, 2012, 7:00-9:00 a.m.
FEES:	Please issue two checks. One in the amount of $395 (US FUNDS ONLY) for the Booth space and one for the application fee of $20. Please make the checks payable to The Creative Arts Center in Chatham. All checks will be deposited. If your application is declined, The Creative Arts Center will refund your exhibitor's fee of $395.
DUE DATE:	All applications must be postmarked by April 1, 2012. Note: Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to read pdf files. [Get the Acrobat Reader.]
JURY:	Artists may submit slides, digital files or photographs. All submitted entries will be reviewed by a panel of three judges. The process will be completed by April 15. Submissions must be a good representation of the work you will be displaying. If two exhibitors wish to share a booth then both parties must be juried and accepted and each must send an application fee of $20 along with one Booth fee of $395.
ENTRIES:	Each submission must include 5 different samples of the work you will be displaying and one booth shot. Plain backgrounds are the best way to view your work. Mark each image with your name. Send a self-addressed stamped envelope with sufficient postage to return your images and receive the Juror's Decision. A short description of the work, including sizes and how crafted may be sent. Out of focus or dark images will not be considered.
SLIDES:	Mark each slide with your name & 'top'
DIGITAL FILES:	Please submit digital files of your work to festival2@verizon.net.The images should not exceed 900 pixels wide or 600 pixels tall. Please identify each digital photo with your last name and number to correspond with a short description of the work. . Please include in the subject heading of the email your last name, company name and date. Please include a #10 return stamped envelope with your checks and application form to receive your results.
PHOTOGRAPHS:	Photos of your work no smaller than 5" X 7"
SPACES:	Spaces are 10' x 10'. You must provide your own tent and displays. No electricity is available.
REGULATIONS:	*The Town of Chatham prohibits camping in public places.Therefore, no one will be allowed to stay overnight in Chase Park or any other public place within town limits. The Chatham Park Commission Bans Cars On Festival Grounds and Grass. Exhibitors must park at Cross Street or Shattuck Street Entrance, unload, move the vehicle to the designated parking areas, then set-up their booth. All provisions for setting up booths are to be made by the exhibitors. All Hanging and Three Dimensional Works Must Be Original and Hand Crafted By The Artist.Two dimensional work must be framed.Shrink-wrapped reproductions and cards by the exhibitor may be displayed in bins. Framed reproductions may not be hung. Items are subject to inspection. There will be overnight security** on August 16, 17 and 18, 2012. All exhibitors must clear the grounds by 8:00 pm, Sunday, August 19, 2012.
REFUNDS:	There are no refunds after July 14, 2012. There is no rain date.
REMOVAL:	The Creative Arts Center reserves the right to ask an exhibitor to leave the Festival for non-compliance with any of the above.
