PUTTING LIGHT IN YOUR PAINTINGS- Oil or Acrylic Welcome (Beg/ Interm)
Description:
Working from still-lifes, learn to create light filled paintings. Explore color temperature and vibration with the use of warm under painting. Focus on strong composition to increase drama in work using patterns of light and shadow.

Description:
Bring the exceptional gift of light into your painitngs. Whether your preference is watercolor, oil or acrylics, the various techniques specific to each medium will be demonstrated along with an emphasis on color mixing, color theory and composition. This class is designed for all levels and students are encouraged to chose thier own subject matter.

Description:
Take your basic knowledge about painting and further explore all the principles, possibilites and color decisions of painting.Other aspects of this class focus on drawing skills and concepts. Work from sketches, photos and memory, or set up a still-life to achieve new heights in your visual language.

STERLING JEWELRY DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION (All Levels)
Description:
Learn the basics use of tools to create silver jewelry from wire and sheet. The Center provides you with all the tools you need, bring small bills to purchase silver. Projects include band ring, cuffed bracelet and pierced work pendant.

Description:
Each day there will be a painting demonstration emphasizing composition, values and color using complimentary colors as under painting to produce glowing vibrations of light (Grisaille Technique). At 3 PM each day there will be a critique session.
